The winner of the last month’s Texas Mile event was Richard Holt, who piloted his Underground Racing Twin-Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera to a top speed of 250.1 mph (402 km/h).

Underground Racing was in Texas with two Gallardo’s, both 100% street-legal with twin-turbo engines(over 1000 hp).

250.1 mph on a standing mile is very impressive considering the stock Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera has a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h). Of course the reliability of this 1500 WHP beast is another issue. Take a look at the record breaking run below.
