TechArt’s new performance kit for the recently introduced 911(997) S Carrera S and 4S facelift increases engine output by up to 35 hp.
Called Power kit TA 097/S1, it includes the “Racing” flap-controlled exhaust system and new ECU software. The exhaust system includes two manifolds and a stainless steel Sportkatanlage, muffler with exhaust flap control unit and an exhaust valve doppelovale tailpipes in gloss black or chrome. The driver can thereby switch between a sporty-production sound or a powerful racing sound.
New power output is now 420 hp fom 385 hp( just as much as the 996 Turbo made). Porsche models evolve and the current 911(997) Turbo already has 500 horsepower.
Sporty handling is ensured by TechArt’s VARIO coilover suspension in addition to a set of TechArt sports springs.
TechArt also offers TÜV-certified Aerokit I for the 911 Carrera 4S. This wind tunnel kit provides increased downforce and also improves the driving stability.
Kit consists of a new front spoiler, side skirts, roof spoiler and adjustable rear wing made of PUR-RIM. Decorative trimmings include side mirrors, headlamp surrounds and rear diffuser. Other highlights are carbon fiber mirrors, decorative headlamp surrounds, a low swung rear diffuser and TechArt Formula III forged wheels a twin-spoke design (in a 19 and 20 inch format).
Interior can be upgraded with new leather, color-coordinated three-spoke airbag sports steering wheels, aluminum pedals and different trim strips.
