Polestar Performance is the team behind Volvo’s championship-winning Swedish Touring Car Team. End of this month at the Gotenburg Motor Show they will show their first complete road car project – the C30 Performance Concept Prototype.

At this point details are limited, but we know the concept features a modified engine with 400 horsepower, all-wheel-drive system and an aerodynamic body kit.

“We love the Volvo C30 – it’s a great car with huge potential for development with its low weight and low centre of gravity. It’s also a fantastic road car. But now we go much further by combining the road car with cutting edge racing technology,” says Robert Dahlgren, race and development driver at Polestar. Stay tuned for more details!
