Honda unveils EV-neo electric scooter, sales start in December
Honda has revealed the latest prototype of the EV-neo electric scooter, which it plans to begin lease sales in Japan in December 2010 to businesses who provide mainly delivery services.
Equipped with a lithium-ion battery and a brushless motor, EV-neo provides performance equivalent to that of mass-market under-50cc gasoline engine motorcycles. Expected top speed in this case is around 30 mph(though there are plenty of under-50cc scooters which go over 40 mph), which seems a bit slow.
No official details about the full range, but it is reportedly up to 30 km (18 miles).
