2012 SEMA: Fiat 500 Concept Cars

It’s been a great year for Fiat in America with their stylish Italian subcompact Fiat 500 gaining traction with consumers. But it didn’t start out that way and the brands offerings have quickly blossomed into a Convertible, a Turbo and a 500 Abarth badboy car! But bring normal cars to the SEMA Show is inexcusable so Fiat brought three custom tuned cars to this years show. Let’s have a look!

First up is the beach-cruiser concept. Fiat went with a retro look on this one, further exaggerating the car’s short wheelbase with a widebody kit.

The car gets charcoal matte-black paint, retro-style rims, a roof rack and, oh it’s a convertible too!

The interior of the car takes the retro look even further. With floor mats made of the same material as the roof rack, orange tinted windows and seats trimmed with beach towel terry cloth!

Next up is the Fiat 500 cafe racer concept.

Inspired by cafe racer motorcycles, this car is made to be minimal.

For one thing, it loses its side-view mirrors.

And the inside translates that even further with a shaved-aluminum look and the motorcycle trailer out back.

Finally, it’s an original take on the Fiat 500 Abarth, the Magneti Marelli Argento.

It’s gets special 17″ wheels, a lowered suspension, cold-air intake and a special exhaust, all in a tribute to its namesake’s racing history.

Of course no one expects any of these cars to roll off productions lines, but in true SEMA Show fashion, we see just how far the Fiat 500 lines can go toward customization.
