Amelia Island Auction garnered more than $16.1 Million in sales
Early in March we reported about a very rare 1961 Porsche RS61, that Gooding & Company was auctioning at the Amelia Island Auction in Florida last Friday.
Expected price for this classic Porsche was between 1.2-1.5 Million. The car eventually sold for 1.705 Million and was the second highest bid car after a 1931 Voisin Mylord Demi-Berline that sold for $2.75 Million.
One more car was sold for more than $1 Million, a 1932 Bugatti Type 50 Drop Head Coupe at $1.1 Million.
In total 58 out of 71 lots were sold for more than $16.1 Million in sales.
