Lightly disguised next-generation BMW M5 has been spotted testing around the famous Nürburgring. Even though BMW has not confirmed what powers the new M5, rumor is that the naturally aspirated V10 is gone and replaced with the same twin-turbo V8 that is found in the X5 M and X6 M.

This 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 is expected to produce around 578 horsepower in the new M5. As with all M models the car will feature quad exhaust pipes in the rear, huge air intakes in the front and side vents.
